Why am I all of a sudden craving Foster’s? I am wishing with every fiber of my being to be sitting on a picnic table right off of 15-501 chowing down on the best breakfast burrito known to man, served on metal camping plates, and surrounded by my college besties.

This is such an unfair craving— the object of my desire is a couple thousand miles away. Perhaps it would be sated if someone put this book under the tree for me?

i have been wanting something similar, but for new york, preferably handmade or vintage, but there is no way i am paying what the union square holiday market map people want for a piece of paper, and etsy yields nothing except these totally rad postcards that i would definitely like to see in my christmas stocking.

Because some of us have to/had to.

With sincere curiosity, I want to know HOW ya’ll survived. I honestly can’t comprehend it. $35K in Manhattan??? You could barely live in West Hartford on that, if you want to do anything more then sleep and work.

Do you live in Manhattan? Do you eat? Do your parents help you? How do you look so chic all the time? Are you in debt? My friends in Connecticut ALWAYS talk about how we can’t comprehend how people work entry-level jobs in Manhattan if their parents aren’t helping.

I’m genuinely curious. Please share!

i’m really slow in reporting this, but I RAN MY VERY FIRST RACE on saturday! it was SO FREAKING COLD but i still ran it at my best pace ever (still slow, whatever) and it was the furthest distance i’ve ever run in one go. i think i’ll have to do this again.

Those are some real life JWOWW jeans. i want to make sure that wherever this ends up it will be used properly, needs to have a good home. also, some questions have been raised about the necklace. rest assured it is indeed a kate spade new york necklace and is brand new, never used and has a logo stamp on the clasp. it is also one of kind, not another one like it in the whole wide world, aren’t you lucky? good luck!

I love the Ancient Greek vibe of this necklace, with its large collar design and the spiral medallion. Thanks to high school lit class, I’m familiar with The Odyssey…but Faithful Penelope? Nah, this necklace is a bit too bold, too saucy to put on and wait for 20 years till your husband gets back, rejecting suitors left and right. Instead I see this being worn by the sorceress Circe, who transformed her enemies into animals using magic potions. She was a seductress with a hot temper, basically the HBIC. She would totally rock this.

I could definitely see myself wearing this necklace for a night out in New York. Wouldn’t the electric blue really pop if I wore it with a floaty magenta frock like this one? It would definitely be the center of the outfit with a cream ruffly party dress, or even go really literal with the Greek inspiration in this drapey number. And during the day, it would be perfect for a summer look with white jeans, a tank and a fitted navy blazer. I would love to have this beauty to style up a million ways!

on the ninth day of christmas my true love gave to me, nine ladies dancing. so continuing with the 12 days of christmas (of which i started at 10, big whoop) i give you 3 looks for dancing holiday ladies. one of the greatest things about this season is the parties. the best ones are usually filled with really old friends who know pretty much everything about you. thus, you can dance like a crazy person and drink too much wine and eat too many cookies without feeling weird. so i took a gander through the collections and here you have three super fun party looks for all the dancing ladies out there. trouble is there are ten lords-a-leaping…somebody is going home alone. wop wop. happy holidays!

He’s Robert Earl Buckley VII. YEAH, VII. There were alot of other sexy motherfuckers before him, and he also shares a surname with Jeff Buckley. ‘Nuff said.

Look at his body. Plus he shows it alot since he is shirtless 99% of the time. It’s like Christmas for your eyes.

I watched this over the weekend. It isn’t my proudest moment, but whatever. Now, I must tell you my initial reactions to this photo, even before watching the show.

Things I notice:

Honey, your jeans are tucked into your heels. That is terrible. Also, your jeans have a gapping hole in the thigh. We are all about 2 inches from seeing your Britney. Also, your shoes don’t fit. Your toes are actually touching the ground. Terrible. Also, MTV apparently does not airbrush away your tummy. Noted.(Things I learned while watching the show. You can’t see the true tragedy of her hair. And she has that shirt in at least three colors.)

Next! You, midget girl! Your curves are kickin’! Implants? No, seriously, your bra measurement may be larger then your actual height. Impressive. And good use of the Bump-it. Or, like four of them at one time.(Things I learned during the show. Not a bumpit, actually a banana clip. Classy. Also, she is like, bananas crazy. And into “juiced up guidos.” For serious.)

The black jumpsuit girl? This show’s Kristin Cavelleri. Mark my words. And is she wearing heeled loafers? (Things I learned from the show. She spent, like, a crazy amount of time trying to get with “Mike, The Situation,” made out with him for like 3 minutes and then decided some other roommate would be better to make out with. It was totally weird.)

If we were playing a game of, which of these things is not like the other, the girl in the purple wins. Sure, she is sporting a latex skirt and the ugliest ankle booties in history, but look at her lack of fake bake tan! And her posture says, “Why am I involved in this?” not “Which one of you muscle bound studs is going to buy me a shot?” (things I learned during the show. No no, she should be involved with this show. And she may be the Spencer of this show. She is a little trouble maker. And they have taken to calling her Jolie, because her name is Angelina.)

I can’t bring myself to talk about the guys. They are just so freaking terrible. And, seriously, I could go on about that first girl in the jeans for hours. Everything about this outfit she is wearing makes me want to light her on fire. Not to harm her, just to get those clothes off the planet. They are 150% terrible.
